Displacement

The displacement project is born through the rolling chaos of events that I've seen. I do have a sense of displacement within as constant instability - the uninterrupted existence of everything that I love and care about is not guaranteed at all. I wait for catastrophes.

There’s a difference between photography and visual storytelling. You can easily take a photograph, but not all photographs tell rich stories.

You’ve heard the phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words” many times, right? As a photographer, I believe this is true when we dedicate ourselves to seeking out images that really tell a story. As a fashion photographer, I am hardwired to these words "Fashion is an ART of self-expression, not an excuse to be pretty, popular and charismatic" this is where it draws the divide.

We all have emotions within us, the trigger of our daily feelings of Anger, Love, Hate and Dissolution, once expressed The Magic is in the Telling.  When a person feels an emotion out of anything, process or event, the person will hardly be able to forget that specific thing, process or event, and will try to recreate these experiences, through one's art. It may not be exactly of how it happened, but paints in abstract.

It is in the mind of the photographer to “direct” or “channelize” the minds of the viewers to a particular, strong and appealing stories. And if the photographer is not successful in this endeavor than the photograph loses its distinctiveness and falls under the “normal” category.

Through travel, I have witnessed different human emotions, seeing pain in other peoples eyes is what evokes our self awareness. Not too long ago, my stressors  was triggered. It was unexpected, as medical responder, every second counts, while flipping through the index and possibly 100 billion neurons, with over 100 trillion total connection point in the synapses only to get to the hippocampus to obtain one single event in time.. The rest is history..... I can only rely in my art to show a little sanity left in me..

It’s gonna be everything you’ve ever dreamed
It’s gonna be who and me
It’s gonna be everything and anything that aren't meant to be
